Ways to Give
Healing Arts – The Eye of A Child

This Mother’s Day, honor the special women in your life by making a donation to Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation and help support programs like Sunrise Kids, our bereavement program for children coping with the loss of a loved one. Click on Grief Support for more information. To donate online, click on Donate Now. We appreciate your generosity.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts

Remember your loved ones with Memorial and Tribute gifts. These tile gifts are a permanent, visible way to honor or memorialize loved ones and to support hospice programs and services. Tiles are installed in memory or honor of someone through a gift or gifts of $1,000 or more. Donors are recognized in tile ceremonies during which new tiles are dedicated. Tile inscriptions are inscribed in the Book of Honor for each location.

Helping Hospice Grow: Capital Campaigns

Care centers in Wilmington, Whiteville, and soon in Brunswick County help Hospice patients receive excellent care while the families get the support and services they need to be there for their loved ones. Capital campaigns funded by generous donors have helped build two of these Care Centers and are well on the way to helping build a third much-needed facility in Brunswick County.

Leadership Giving

For more than thirty years, Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter's ability to remain strong and grow has depended on the generosity, foresight, and dedication of donors who believe in its mission. Leadership gifts are contributions of $10,000 or more. They help build a strong financial base that provides lasting support for the agency's programs and services. Leadership contributors become members of the Chrysalis, Monarch, or Dame Cicely Saunders societies. They are recognized as dedicated and generous supporters whose leadership, service, and devotion to Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter have inspired them to give.

Promise Partners
Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation invites you to join our Promise Partners – partnering in hope with a monthly promise of support. While Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans provide some reimbursement, there is always a gap between their coverage and the cost necessary to provide quality hospice care. At Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter, no one is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. Monthly gifts provide regular, reliable support which allows us to care for more patients with limited resources. It’s easy and convenient to become a Promise Partner. Use your credit card to set up recurring gifts securely online. You can change the amount of your gift or cancel at any time. A record of your contributions appears on your monthly bank or credit card statement and Lower Cape Fear Hospice Foundation will send you a receipt at the end of the year for the full amount of your gift which is tax-deductible as allowed by law. If you would like more information on providing monthly gifts, contact Jane Birnbach at 910-796-7942 or jane.birnbach@lcfh.org.
